I mean I too loved the concept but it was quickly soured by Winick's...hit or very much miss writing, recycling a Titans Traitor storyline TWICE with both Raven and Jericho (who really got screwed over later), and...just being a mess until Deathstroke took over & it became a more villain-flavored mess. Forgive me if I come off rude, but I am curious if I missed some nice moments from Tv2."
Not rude at all, I actually try to avoid real feelings of holding a grudge on rehashed storylines, when they’re nice enough to give me more Titans of the real kind, (not Tim Drake and co.)
I try to approach any series that has my favourite character(s) with a relatively optimistic, rose-coloured glasses viewpoint, I’m really just glad to get more Dick Grayson or more of the Titans in general. (Considering I may never get them in this medium again, I take what I have and make the best of it.)
I avoid some of the storylines and make a list of my favourite parts. Scenes like this:

Make even the most awful turn out of an entire series, (which, during this period, apart from the New JLA and the Dick-Bats storyline was highly disgusting and cringe-worthy [<cough> Rise and Fall <cough>]) passable.
Plus two key plot points I loved, Dick and Kory finally making the break and Donna really stepping back out and asserting herself.
Dick and Kory were a cute couple before the advent of the early nineties. Even about ten issues before Dick proposed to Kory, they were drifting and afterwards…that was it. They’d always love each other but as far as Dick was concerned, it was over.
Koriand’r, however, still harboured feelings for Dick, and that was something you could see clearly in Titans V1, but she distanced herself again because she suspected Dick was seeing someone else. (Yes. He and Barbara were about to become engaged.)
But then in V2 of The Titans, Lust forced them to act on old feelings again, (they often hooked up, see Outsiders for example,) and Kory thinks there might be something there between them once more.
But, Dick makes the break cleanly. He’s still waiting on Barbara, he always will. That’s whom he’s in love with and it gave a real, resounding honesty to Dick and Kory’s prior relationship. No lies, no maybes, just the truth.
It really left an impact on me, that they were comfortable enough with each other to be brutally honest, that there was no longer any romantic love between them. It was good writing and a good chapter closer.
And my beautiful Donna. The fact she stood up to her friends that expected her to still be that den-mother and the good one, by reminding them that she was still a young woman. She’d married young, she’d been divorced and she lost her child…all before she was thirty!
I love how Donna stood up to them all and reminded them that she was a young person their age and not some substitute mother-figure.
Plus Titans V2 #15, when Dick and Garth talk one last time:
I love that moment. I truly do. In addition some of the last moments Roy spent with Lian are in this series…before everything went to Hell in the Rise and Fall JLA specials and connected back into the last few Titan issues.
There are some really good moments in this series, plus some very nice artwork. Everyone has their quibbles about what they want out of any comic series, but, honestly, I was just happy to have all my favourite Titan members together, for what could turn out to be quite probably the very last time.
